Our elegant 2015 La Fai from Kimsey Vineyard is 89% Syrah co-fermented with 11% Viognier. This classic Northern Rhone style of winemaking creates a rounder mouthfeel and a more aromatic wine. The grapes are hand harvested and basket pressed by hand.

95 Boscoe 2015 La Fai Kimsey Vineyard Syrah (Ballard Canyon). This winery’s bottlings only seem to grow more interesting and elegant with time, and this vintage, which includes 11% Viognier, is riding its potentially extended peak. Aromas of nori wrap, peppercorn and seashore wrap around singed boar and muddled red fruit on the nose, while the palate pops with dried cranberry, orange rind, seared lamb and hibiscus.
